Enabling 24/7 Remote Monitoring Through Solar Power and Wireless Mobile Connectivity
For Immediate Release
Simpang Pulai, Malaysia – 4 August 2026 – vnetwork System Sdn Bhd has successfully completed the installation of a CCTV monitoring system at the Simpang Pulai hill slope site, enabling continuous remote surveillance and improved site visibility. The solution integrates solar power with wireless mobile network connectivity to support CCTV operations in a remote location without existing network infrastructure or a reliable electricity supply. This allows the site to be monitored remotely without depending on conventional power or fixed network infrastructure.
Seamless 24/7 Remote Monitoring
The CCTV cameras installed at the Simpang Pulai site capture live footage, which is transmitted through the wireless mobile network to Menara JKR Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. This enables the monitoring team at JKR Headquarters to access the live CCTV feed and monitor site conditions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
By combining renewable solar power, wireless connectivity and CCTV surveillance, vnetwork delivers an integrated monitoring solution designed to address the challenges of remote and infrastructure-limited environments.
Future Expansion to Additional Areas
Following the successful implementation of the current installation, two additional areas at the same location will require the same CCTV monitoring service once their respective foundations are ready. The existing solution provides a practical approach for extending remote monitoring coverage to these areas, subject to site readiness and the necessary implementation arrangements.
This phased approach allows the monitoring infrastructure to be extended in line with construction progress while maintaining a consistent surveillance approach across the site.
Supporting Remote Site Surveillance
This project demonstrates vnetwork's capability to integrate power, connectivity and security technologies into a practical solution for challenging site conditions. By enabling reliable remote access to live CCTV footage, the solution helps improve site visibility and supports more effective monitoring by the project team.
vnetwork remains committed to delivering integrated technology solutions that address real-world infrastructure challenges and support customers' operational requirements.
